The question I get most when people contact me about driving lessons is “How many hours will I need”.
The matrix above is a guide which was produced and published by the Driving & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) a few years ago.
Having now been a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor for some years I consider the matrix to be a true reflection of the time it will take to learn to drive to a safe standard.
